Measure Title: A bill to authorize the cancellation of removal and adjustment of status of certain alien students who are long-term United States residents and who entered the United States as children, and for other purposes. In other words the ability for illegal aliens to receive in state tuition discounts, discounts your citizen children are not even entitled to. We need a big over hauling and out the door party for these politicians. Many are simply not getting the message. CHICAGO IL. SEPT. 26, 2007—-A Chicago Police officer facing charges of running a robbery crew with fellow cops is now charged in federal court with trying to arrange the murder of a former officer who was prepared to testify against him, prosecutors said.
Jerome Finnigan, 44, was arrested today and charged with using a telephone to commit murder-for-hire.

Finnigan allegedly talked about hiring street gang members to kill the officer for $5,000 in what he described as a “paint job.”
Last Friday, Finnigan told the co-defendant he found someone to kill the officer and needed a photo for the hitman to identify his target, the FBI said.
On Sunday, Finnigan told the co-defendant that he was considering killing a second officer he also thought was cooperating with authorities, prosecutors said. He allegedly spoke of having them “taken care of.”

He also wrote down on a piece of paper the names of two other officers he correctly speculated were cooperating with authorities against him, prosecutors said.

President of Mexico Felipe Calderon blasted the United States for immigration policies that have divided families and slowed the amount of money sent home by Mexicans living north of the border.

He also reached out to the millions of Mexicans living in the United States, many illegally, saying: Mexico does not end at its borders. Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico.

NEW YORK - A seven-alarm fire ripped through an abandoned skyscraper next to ground zero in Lower Manhattan Saturday, killing two firefighters who were responding to the blaze.

One of the firefighters killed was identified as Joseph Graffagnino, 34, of Brooklyn. He was a member of Ladder 5, which lost 11 members on Sept. 11, 2001.


The name of the other slain firefighter was not immediately released because officials were not able to reach his family, Bloomberg said.

Five or six other firefighters were taken to a hospital but were expected to be released, Bloomberg said. No civilians were hurt.

Above is the headlines from the Chicago Suntimes daily paper. For those of you who are neither familiar with Chicago or their Suntimes paper,there are two things to understand about Chicago. One, it is only one of two major newspapers. That's right there are only two major papers, the other being the Chicago Tribune. For the most part the Tribune in the past was conservative and leaned more towards being Republican. The Suntimes has always been Democrat and leans majority, as a Liberal voice and towards being anti-police. Years ago Chicago use to have four papers, the two we mentioned and the American and the Daily news. It has always bothered us that within Chicago, we now get only one of two choices for our daily reads. Its common knowledge for the most part that the Trib does a better part in its editorials and layouts well, that is the some of the time.

Why are we bringing this up? We ran what Channel 2 Chicago said about Officer Mette's incident of self defense, now WITH A SENTENCE OF 5 YEARS IMPRISONMENT in Iowa and how they slanted the story, for the Attorney of a rich grown man known as Jake. JACOB GOTHARD THE KEG and BALL OF BELLVIEW IOWA A DUBUQUE NAME The Suntimes reads like a mirrored reflection, slanted and missing valid issues. Here are the examples and once again their coming from the Dubuque Prosecuting Attorney Gallagher: beating an Iowa college student to the point of brain injury and broken nose and jaw. Channel 2 used two Brain Bleeds broken nose and jaw, not much difference there. or this, the gross use of the identical word, retaliated. Mette defended himself, even the judge admits who the initiator was the alleged victim Jacob Gothard also called Jake. It is our understanding that the Suntimes refused Officer Mette's defense retort and preferred to run the hostile retort of the Prosecuting Attorney Gallager, in favor of a badly appointed Judge known as Ackley. Who wrongly sided with the rich attacker aka now made victim, Jake from Bellview Iowa.

Jake's father owns a large trucking company business in Iowa and Officer Mette is a cop from Chicago an outsider with no political influence in Iowa, unlike daddy Curt Gothard who was in court more than his own son Jake. Jake's alcohol level the night of the single punch by Officer Mette in self defense was .310 and that's a very dangerous level of intoxication. Jake was smashed but not by Mette. Jake also ended up with a later DUI! So what does this really tell you about Jake the aggressor. Officer Mette with a clean record was railroaded and that's an unacceptable judicial travesty by the players in the Dubuque Judicial system.

Immigrant Security Check Backlog Threatens Nation
Mismanagement and poor coordination between two U.S. government agencies has led to a major backlog of immigrant background security checks that poses a tremendous threat to the country’s safety.
The agency in charge of conducting the security checks of residents living in the U.S. and seeking citizenship, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is so inefficient that its backlog has doubled in the last two years to 329,160. This is just the latest mishap for a bureau that has been in trouble recently for its inefficiency and borderline incompetence.

A republic is a sovereign state ruled by representatives of a widely inclusive electorate. In contrast to a direct democracy, a republic empowers voters who elect representatives to act for them at the federal level, where the majority rules – not a congressional district or a state – but the majority of U.S. representatives and senators:

The United States of America is a federal republic, in which federal laws have precedence over state and municipal laws. With cities and states choosing to defy U.S. immigration laws, the result is anarchy at the borders – immigration anarchy.

The concept of sanctuary as a safe haven for undocumented immigrants has no legal basis in the United States. In 2002, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed U.S. immigration laws and denied sanctuary as a defense (USA v. Francine La May). In 1989, the Supreme Court upheld criminal convictions of sanctuary workers for violating immigration laws (USA v. Aquilar). In that landmark case, the Court affirmed U.S. immigration laws that prohibit bringing in or landing aliens, transporting or moving undocumented aliens within the U.S., and concealing, harboring, or shielding aliens.
Recent proclamations by certain U.S. cities and states offering sanctuary to all immigrants, despite their legal standing, demonstrates contempt for federal laws. Among the new sanctuaries or civil liberties safe zones are the states of California, Maine, and Oregon. Sanctuary cities include Chicago and Cook Cty. addition, Anchorage, Baltimore, Durham (NC), Madison (WI), along with Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, and New York City. These renegade governmental entities, which challenge the validity of U.S. immigration laws, are spreading like a cancer rotting the sinew, muscle, and bone of the American Republic. The result, intentional or not, promises to be a balkanized network of warring city-states.

The United States is a Republic governed by the vote of its citizens, rather than by self-serving city- states catering to non-citizens and destined for a disintegration similar to that of the Roman Empire. The United States is a nation of immigrants, but immigrants who swear allegiance to the American flag and to no other.

Full Border Security first and the involved agencies have to get their house's in order, along with making companies who choose to hire be the front runners who need to be held accountable less the slap on the hand and that's not going to happen over night. Were treading in dangerous waters, what about Homeland Security and the new amnesty thrust for the 20 million +? Profit Mongers banging on our doors. Were no where near being ready, for yet, another amnesty nor should we be allowing open borders that aid unknown hoppers and truckers. . Just what are our politicians thinking? Apparently, they simply don't care.
