OBAMA REZKO LINK OBAMA'S FORGOTTEN ONES

Photo at top a gang, drug and rat invested apartment bldg at 339 E 94Th St. Upper East Side of Manhattan filled with problems in the Obama days. The very type of problems, Obama claimed he came to Chicago to Change. It's also where Obama lived during his New York activist paid days. So why Change to Chicago?

The Obama Myth created in Chicago's, concealed inner political Machine circle.

You see Obama could have stayed in New York for his paid community service action days but New York would not have afforded him the same political opportunities as the Chicago Democratic Machine had in store for him here.

Obama needed Chicago's problematic Acorn and they needed him. He used Acorn and they used him. He then went on to work up legal cases for Acorn while representing them in court. A true Chicago Machine opportunist, the Obama glorified.

Axlerod markets politicians by selling an idea a simple word, Change. He's not concerned about issue's as much as he is with an image, the image sells. We never stopped calling it smoke and mirrors. In truth Obama's most humbling moments may have been, sleeping in an alley and showering in a hydrant back in New York.

NEW YORK - A seven-alarm fire ripped through an abandoned skyscraper next to ground zero in Lower Manhattan Saturday, killing two firefighters who were responding to the blaze.

One of the firefighters killed was identified as Joseph Graffagnino, 34, of Brooklyn. He was a member of Ladder 5, which lost 11 members on Sept. 11, 2001.

The name of the other slain firefighter was not immediately released because officials were not able to reach his family, Bloomberg said.

Five or six other firefighters were taken to a hospital but were expected to be released, Bloomberg said. No civilians were hurt.

former Deutsche Bank office building, vacant since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks turned it into a toxic nightmare

Construction crews had already dismantled 14 of the building's 40 stories — reaching the 26th floor on Tuesday. Some firefighters used stairs to reach the burning upper floors of the building, just steps from where 343 firefighters lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

The plume of gray smoke that trailed above the site of the World Trade Center raised concerns that toxic substances in the building could be spreading.
******************************
We were here in less than three and a half minutes. There were 87 units, 475 firefighters, fight a truly difficult fire, because of the smoke conditions as well as the fire. We had to lift lines from the street, with ropes in order to get it up to the 17th floor, because that building, being under demolition, being in the condition that it is. …
Terrible event, terrible tragedy — that house being hit again makes it all the more devastating.

NEW YORK CITY STEAM PIPE BURST

Jet of steam sending residents running for cover amid a towering geyser of steam.
An underground Steam Pipe burst shooting plumes of steam, sometimes white and sometimes muddy brown, shooting into the air from a gaping hole in the street near the train station and was as high as the nearby Chrysler Building. The air near the site was filled with debris.

Heiko H. Thieme, an investment banker, had mud splattered on his face, pants and shoes. He said the explosion was like a volcano. "Everybody was a bit confused, everybody obviously thought of 9/11."

Darryl Green, who works with AT&T, said the buildings shook, so he and his colleagues dashed down 30 flights of stairs.
