Mexican Mercenaries Raid Phoenix Home POLICE TARGETED

Sunday night, Andrew Williams was shot to death at his home near 83rd Ave. and Encanto in Phoenix, Arizona.

According to a police report, 25-year-old Manual Garcia-Trejo, Daniel Garcia-Saenz, 24, and Rodolfo Madrigal Lopez, 19 each face a charge of 1st degree murder in Williams' death.


One of the men captured said they were completely prepared to ambush Phoenix police, but ran out of ammunition.

All were dressed in military tactical gear and were armed with AR-15 assault rifles. Three other men involved in the invasion escaped.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AL SHARPTON AM SUBPOENA SLAP

Teams of federal agents swooped down on up to 10 close associates of the Rev. Al Sharpton Wednesday, demanding the flamboyant clergyman's financial records since 2001.

Sharpton's former chief of staff said he was roused at his Harlem home about 6:30 a.m. by two FBI agents who handed him a subpoena to bring the records to a federal grand jury the day after Christmas.

Several employees of Sharpton's National Action Network also got wakeup subpoenas to testify before the Brooklyn panel, the rabble-rousing reverend's lawyer said.

The FBI and IRS are investigating whether Sharpton improperly misstated the amount of money he raised during his 2004 White House run to illegally obtain federal matching funds, a source familiar with the probe said.

Sharpton, although forced to return $100,000 in matching taxpayer funds after an investigation two years ago, denied any wrongdoing at the time.

The feds are also looking into allegations of tax fraud, including whether Sharpton commingled funds from his nonprofit National Action Network with several of his for-profit ventures, the source said.

Lawyer Michael Hardy shrugged off the probe, which sought a vast array of business, political and personal records, as a federal fishing expedition.

"I can't think of a time when the Rev. Sharpton wasn't under investigation," Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

COPS FUNDING LOSS OR SAFE SANCTUARY CITY

Senator David Vitter (R-La.) offered a critical amendment to the Commerce, Justice and Science Appropriations Bill (H.R. 3093). This amendment will cut off Federal Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) funding to states and municipalities that have sanctuary policies in violation of federal law. COPS is a program started by the Clinton Administration that grants federal dollars to local governments to assist them in hiring more police officers.

Notwithstanding any other provision of Federal, State, or local law, a Federal, State, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict, any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) - A motorcyclist shot a plainclothes Broward County sheriff's deputy Monday after he was pulled over during a routine traffic stop, authorities said. The officer was in critical condition.

The deputy, who was not identified, stopped the motorcyclist at about 11:50 a.m., but the suspect fled on foot, then turned around and shot the deputy, authorities said in a statement.

The suspect was arrested moments later at a nearby condominium, officials said. His name was not released

TACOMA, Wash. - A Thai immigrant convicted of incest led investigators to the body of a 12-year-old girl who had been missing since the Fourth of July, and is expected to be charged in her death, authorities said Friday.

Police are also trying to determine whether Terapon Adhahn, 42, is connected to other missing child cases that date back to 1986.

A search of the Parkland home south of Tacoma where Adhahn had been staying turned up "girl's undergarments," according to a search warrant return.

The cases being reviewed by police date back more than 20 years. Michella Welch, 12, of Tacoma, was found dead hours after the girl disappeared from a park on March 26, 1986. Later that year, Jennifer Bastian, 13, of Tacoma, was found dead in a park where she'd been last seen riding her bicycle two weeks earlier.

Other cases under review by authorities include a 4-year-old who vanished in 1995 and a 10-year old who vanished last year.

Adhahn, a legal permanent resident of the U.S., could not have been deported for the incest conviction because it was not an aggravated felony and it was his first offense, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Virginia Kice said Friday. But a 1992 conviction for intimidation with a dangerous weapon could have made him deportable, and Adhahn was being held this week on an immigration complaint. He also was charged with failing to register as a sex offender.

25th Ward Alderman Danny Solis was no stranger to the radical politics of the 1970s when he helped start UNO in 1980. By that time, Solis had co-founded Latino Youth Alternative High School on the Southwest Side. “When I ran Latino Youth high school, I had Marxists, Maoists, anarchists, leftists, teaching there,” said Solis.

Others pointed out UNO was also close to Harold Washington and other mayors, including assisting Daley into office. “They put Harold Washington on a pedestal,” Washington appointed an UNO member as a City College trustee and rewarded the group with insider access to police data.
Since 2003, the group has received more than $1 million in city contracts.
As a nonprofit, UNO is kept from direct politicking. But the plucky group owes its rapid growth to its shrewd political alliances and its ability to provide cover for politicians as a community voice.

As Chicago’s Latino communities have grown and matured, there are roughly four groups that have power in the city. Citywide, there is the HDO and UNO. In Little Village, there is a faction allied to 22nd Ward Alderman Ricardo Muñoz and Garcia, a former state senator. And, on the Northwest Side, a group of largely Puerto Rican politicians is allied to U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez.

Defeat of Cloture on Immigration Bill is a Defeat for Heavy-Handed Legislative Tactics and a Victory of Law Abiding Americans

Washington DC — Today’s defeat 46-53 of a motion to invoke cloture and end debate on the Bush-Senate immigration bill reflects the unprecedented public rejection of the idea of granting amnesty to tens of millions of illegal aliens, and the unprecedented legislative tactics employed to try to force this unpopular bill through Senate. Calling the defeat of cloture a tremendous victory for law-abiding, hard-working Americans and a rebuke of the White House’s and the Senate leadership’s arrogant effort to impose their will on the American public, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) congratulated all of those who were involved in derailing a singularly irresponsible piece of legislation.
“The decision by the Senate not to move forward with a bill that would grant amnesty to countless millions of illegal aliens and undermine American workers with still more foreign guest workers is a tribute to vibrancy of our democracy,” said Dan Stein, president of FAIR. “This was nothing short of a popular revolt against an unresponsive government in Washington that is not only out of touch with the concerns of the people they represent, but openly disdainful of them.

The vote 46-53 was in opposition to cloture. This was an historic defeat for those who favor the status quo coupled with ineffective law enforcement, and represents a dramatic change in the politics of the national immigration issue forever. Public opposition was so great that the Senate phone system was entirely shut down, according to the Sergeant-at-Arms today.

Dicks (D) wants to assist the NEA in continuing with, even more additional funding. That is, while boosting your Federal tax dollars to continue paying for it. Matter of fact Dicks appeared in favor of raising our tax dollar share for ear marks through out the day.

Seeing this dinner table setting of Vagina's on display by sheer accident, many years ago, as it just so happened, Chicago took a big lead in promoting it. We wondered then as we do now. How it ever made it to the table of fine dining in art. Now isnt it Aplebaum or is it Bobb who was ordained by Daley to the task of over seeing those alleged delinquent parking citations and utilizing hearing officers who. Well, lets just say, it does appear the hearing officers (civilians) are acting as, personal individual collection agencies and sending out their own letters. Rather odd we would say. Remember to bring their letters with, so they know which pot to put that collection money into, how odd is that?

Has anyone taken the time or initiative to find out who the members of the Chicago Police Board are and who and what they are affiliated with? Folks, this is the body that selects the future Superintendent and all disciplinary appeals over 15 days and termination cases.Honorable Star, probably should do a complete post on the Police Board. The Police Board maintains an incredible amount of power over police officers lives.It is quite interesting and a conflict of interest that private attorney Tom Needham personally chose one of the board members,GEORGE M. VELCICH: Appointed in 1998 on the recommendation of Tom Needham, a top mayoral aide who went on to become former Police Supt. Terry Hillard's chief of staff.Tom Needham regularly represents police officers in disciplinary matters in front of the police board. Does using Mr. Needham as your attorney guarantee your exoneration? Something to think about if you are appealing a suspension or are 30 pending separation.

PATRICIA C. BOBB: Appointed in 1998. President of a law firm that bears her name and specializes in medical malpractice cases. Former Chicago Bar Association president who spent time as an assistant state's attorney. Chosen for her legal expertise, but reportedly got to know Daley at parents nights and sporting events at St. Ignatius College Prep. Bobb's children were students there with the mayor's daughter Lally.
VICTOR M. GONZALEZ: Least-experienced board member, appointed in 2000 on the recommendation of CTA Board member and Hispanic Democratic Organization founder Victor Reyes, the mayor's former intergovernmental affairs director and all-purpose political enforcer. Senior counsel for UNICARE Health Plan. Replaced Victor Armendariz in a Police Board seat long reserved for Hispanics.
