Is this Judge reading into our Constitution then misconstruing it, while voiding immigration law and assisting in aiding and abetting in violation of the law? Local media naturally missed the topic, the fight is not over but their funded by sponsors of Corporations. This may be a small town but it represents all of America, PA may be the perfect setting for this battle ground, their enriched with a strong historical past. Support Hazelton any way you can.
Vic Walczak, legal director of the ACLU of Pennsylvania "We are grateful the court recognized that municipal laws like those in Hazleton are unconstitutional. The trial record showed that these ordinances are based on propaganda and deception,"
Hazeltons ordinance over turned by Judge Munley. Hazelton needs plenty of support, the illegal support groups are heavily funded and we mean heavily. There appears to be no balancing factors anymore, and it now seems anyone from another country entering illegally is being provided with first hand carte Blanche and plenty of excuses for breaking the laws. We have become a lawless society, flexing and bending to special interest groups with powerful Corporate lobbyist's and massive Endowment granted monies, who care not about the law. Money influence and buying of America.
Hispanic immigrants began settling in the area in large numbers several years ago, drawn from New York, Philadelphia and other cities by cheap housing, low crime and the availability of work in nearby factories and farms. It then turned into a climbing increase in the city's population and an increase in crime. As a result, Barletta introduced the ordinance, which was passed on July 13, 2006, by a city council vote of 4 to 1.
The law states that illegal immigration "leads to higher crime rates, contributes to overcrowded classrooms and failing schools, subjects our hospitals to fiscal hardship and legal residents to substandard quality of care, contributes to other burdens on public services, increasing their cost and diminishing their availability to lawful residents and destroys our neighborhoods and diminishes our overall quality of life."
But before the legislation could take effect, the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund and the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit against the city, charging that the measure would " infringe the constitutional rights of all Hazletonians who look or sound like 'foreigners,' not just those who are here in the United States 'illegally, now we have to ask, are there not already laws on the books for this type of real discrimination for actual citizens already? This angle is so far fetched but of no real surprise coming from the two above agencies mentioned.
Last August, a federal judge in the nearby city of Scranton issued a temporary order preventing the ordinance from being enforced. That decision was effectively confirmed on Thursday.
Hazleton's law has been copied by dozens of municipalities whose officials believe the federal government hasn't done enough to stop illegal immigration.
Nevertheless, Barletta promised to push ahead on the matter. "I'm not ready to lose," he said. "We're not only fighting for Hazleton. We are fighting for cities across the country."

Million-Dollar Earmark To Nonexistent Organization Congress
This nonsense is costing us all an its not ceasing, John Murtha sneaks in an expensive earmark for a non-exist center, What on earth!
Earmark’s sponsor was Pennsylvania Representative John Murtha, who didn’t bother confirming whether the so-called Center for Instrumented Critical Infrastructure, actually exists, when he sneaked it into a bill sponsored by Indiana’s Peter Visclosky
In yet another example of the rampant waste and abuse with Congressional earmarks, a well-known Democratic lawmaker allocated $1 million taxpayer dollars to an organization that doesn’t even exist.
When a fellow House member, Arizona Republican Jeff Flake, questioned the suspicious earmark in his bill, Visclosky admitted that he didn’t have a clue. Flake specifically asked if the center about to receive $1 million taxpayer dollars currently exists and Visclosky said he did not know.
Lawmakers refused to strip the questionable earmark from the bill and proceeded to overwhelmingly pass it 312-112. Allocating money to entities without verifying that they exist seems to mark an all-time low for members of Congress,
In this case Congress earmarked an amount equal to about 40 years of salary for an average American family to an organization no one could certify as real.

CHICAGO POLICE BLOG SUNTIMES TAKE TIP
Straight from the mouth of the Daily SouthTown a member of the SunTimes.
Several anonymous posts on a local police blog say the first officer to arrive was a patrolman on special assignment in the Gresham District who got a phone call from a family member at the scene, pleading for help because no police were there. Interesting the supervisors are still at work during the investigation, yet two Dispatcher's are out during the investigation. The city that works. We wonder what happened as well.
Two Chicago police dispatchers were placed on leave as the city investigates why they ignored -- for 26 minutes -- a high-priority 911 call reporting an assault in progress in Durkin Park on Saturday night.
"We take every matter very seriously. I'm very upset about the situation," said Tony Ruiz, acting executive director of the city's Office of Emergency Management and Communication. We thought he was the the Director or so the media said so before?

CHICAGO POLICE REFORM BY WHOM?
If, as the city maintains, the union contract prevents the release of such details, the contract needs to be rewritten -- and police should recognize that such a change is to their benefit. For one, it is essential to maintain the public's trust, without which police cannot function. Police are not ordinary municipal workers whose disciplinary issues should be hidden. We place great power in their hands, and we demand greater responsibility.
Your correct, were not ordinary municipal workers and after the fact, how far will the loudest criers, who manage to frequently have run-In's with the police, while breaking the law take this issue, that is once they get their way? Why not just hold public cross burnings in Salem style. We hear, the only ones on the cross, will be the Union if they allow anymore watering and selling down to the city.
Were bored with the above rhetoric, we lay odds the mass majority of law abiding citizens in Chicago, don't seem to have any real problems with the majority of police. Why, their too busy working, raising families, paying the bills, going to school for an educational purpose. Their encounters at the most, might be traffic related or calls of true urgency. This nonsense, has been brought about, by the ones who overly demand police service to assist them, in running their daily chaotic dysfunctional lives. They scream for the police presence and then fault the police for being there. We won't allow ourselves to be painted by the same brush and your right again, DON'T HANDCUFF THE POLICE.

WAUKEGAN GOING FORWARD A ILLINOIS 1ST ILLEGAL ENFORCEMENT

At 8 PM this evening Waukegan's city council reaffirmed their vote from the 2nd of July to train and allow Police Officer's of Waukegan, to enforce immigration law. <
Once trained, officers could identify, process and detain immigration offenders as they come across on the job.
Hyde and other officials have said the program would allow officers to start deportation proceedings for both legal and illegal immigrants convicted of crimes such as murder, rape and drug-related felonies.
Hyde has said the city won't participate in raids on employers or community groups, but that the deportation procedures would apply to offenders police encounter on the job.
The measure is commonly called 287(g). ICE currently has such agreements with law enforcement agencies across the country, including the Alabama Department of Public Safety/State Police and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. About 75 applications from law enforcement agencies are pending, an immigration spokesman has said.
The council voted 7-2 in June to apply for the program, but a member who voted for it then tried to call it back for reconsideration.
THE PHOTO OF THE SIGN WAS CROSSED OUT BY VARIOUS IMMIGRATION SUPPORTIVE ORGANIZATIONS AND LABOR GROUPS.

CHICAGO'S MOB AND PIZZA
Connie's Pizzeria is in the news today peeking out from the Families Secrets trial. Then we have some hilarious statements coming out of the mouths of Illinois elected Representatives over Gov. Blagojevich and State politics. http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/459452,house070707.article All in all, today's news here in Chicago looked like the Chicago, Illinois we grew up in, a true blast from the past.
Connie's is known in Chicago for its medium weight crust pizza and its local South side Pizzeria with an Italian style quaint ambiance, service ain't so bad either. It's street tax to the mob, is well a Chicago thing. It seems we just can't shake the connection between Chicago and the mob and a Pizzeria is the perfect ingredient to the mix.
As born and raised Chicagoan's we were in-breed with the knowledge of the connected. We grew up with, them, went to school with and played with kids of the connected. Those were the mean streets of Chicago where clouds of dust cinders blew in alley's and straws in your bike spokes and smashed tin cans on your shoes echoed amazing sounds. It was a time when kids played with marbles in etched dirt lots and tinkered with metal roller skates and wood go-carts, when a fight was a fist fight for valor. It was also a time when their families were private and they kept to themselves and those were the days when mass was spoken in Latin. Gone are those days and gone is the private lives of the connected where loyalty to the family came first.
Today's Suntimes paper provides the background on Connie's and the mob, sorry my local stop was out of the Tribune but the Suntimes article reads well. You can read further on line at the Suntimes link http://www.suntimes.com/news/mob/455468,CST-NWS-mob04.article and see a short video at http://cltv.trb.com/ from Tuesday trial.
Sweet Home Chicago.

MIDWEST MURDER REVISTED DEVASTATING
AKRON, Ohio - A body found at the end of a days-long search for a nearly nine months pregnant woman is indeed hers, The body found Saturday in a park was that of 26-year-old Jessie Davis, whose due date was July 3. The medical examiner confirmed Sunday as investigators pieced together the case. The fetus was still inside the woman's womb, Kohler said as she left her office Sunday. She declined to comment further. Confirmation of Davis' identity had been announced on a recording from the medical examiner's telephone hot line.
What exactly is the psychological make up of the murderer? Police authorities have charged the father. As the evidence continues to fully establishes the father as the murderer, the question will remain. what vile being courses through his veins? What drives a father to cold blooded murder? Whatever the answers may be. They will never dismiss the horrid tragic acts.

CRIME OF HORRIFIC ACTS MURDER AND FATHERS
2 Separate cases 2 men arrested both of theses case's are beyond horrific.
In the below case a body of a female has been found in Summit County and is believed to be Jessie Davis, 26, who was due to deliver a baby girl on July 3. The boyfriend of the missing pregnant woman and said to be the father of both the two yr. old and the child Kimberly was about to deliver on July 3rd, was arrested on two counts of murder Saturday.
A 26-year-old Ohio woman about to give birth vanishes. Does her two-year-old son have clues that could help police crack the case? Repeated Mommy broke the table, Mommy was crying, Mommy's in rug. 2 yr. old alone for two days, bleach poured on the rug, comforter missing, cell phone missing.
The other horrid story is, a mother and her three children, 13, 11 and 8 were found shot to death, the children shot multiple times. The man arrested, the husband and the father of the children. Both of these stories give the appearance of cold and calculating horrific acts which may not be, strong enough words for these double tragic events, with so many victims.
Investigators said during a press conference Saturday afternoon Vaughn used a 9mm gun in the shooting that killed his wife and three children. Will County's State's Attorney James Glasgow said the gun was purchased by Vaughn from a store in Washington state.
