CHICAGO SHOOTING CRIMES AND THEIR TARGETING THE POLICE


Yes, this is part of the job but it does not take away from the reality when Police are also targets, no one in Chicago is safe. Were glad our fellow officer's are safe and no, taking guns from citizens will not alter Chicago's crimes. Were Safe Sanctuary with Bonds, which means no bounty hunters. We only enact to apparently encourage these types of crimes. Thank God we can still carry.

A 50-year-old woman shot and wounded three Chicago police officers in a West Side apartment building Sunday night before the officers returned fire and killed her, police said. That would be, she ambushed them.

Two of the officers were shot in the arm and one officer's head was grazed by a bullet, said police spokeswoman Monique Bond. All three officers were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where they were in good condition later Sunday, she said. One of the three was expected to be released from the hospital late Sunday or early Monday, police said.
