CHICAGO OEMC GROWTH AFFECT-ON PATROL

No need to concern yourself any longer with, why the training of Police Officer's is of so little importance these days.

So often we hear and experience the waning importance of Police Patrol ONCE known as the back bone of the Chicago Police Department (CPD.)

Complaint after complaint rolls in and often it's the topic of many police conversations. The not so vague REALITY feeling, that police officer numbers aka manpower is not being brought up to par or that training and trainers aka FTO Field Training Officers aka Patrol Specialist are a last thought. We refuse to get into the lack of true safety gear, for that would be a true cheese with our whine. While there is always the media topic of 13,000 strong often strummed and strutted about in discord with the battle cry for actual numbers. We all have them and the media refuses to print them and we know they know, it's no-where near 13,000 but 13 makes for productive soft marketing print. Stablization in one area is de-stablization in another.

Were playing devils advocate here but the connected article sure reads like a new way of policing to us. Patrol aka part of the First Responders are held up as part of the family, that is a step family to the all seeing eye before the relay video of the camera to a monitor watched by,

OEMC CRIME DETECTION SPECIALISTS.

THESE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGING! YA THINK? Were fast becoming an endangered species in more ways than one. Hey, it's our blog and our not so twisted theory.
