CHICAGO POLICE OFFICER STABBED ANOTHER SHOT

The Officer is now in serious to stable condition after surgery this is due to the knife wound. The Officer was transported to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center . The second unknown individual in the alleged altercation suffered a gun shot wound and was (also) sent to Illinois Masonic. A gun was found at the scene but the knife has yet to be found? Does this signal another or other individuals involved in the incident. If the knife is not found it becomes another piece of information the Detectives will have to sort through. This occurred around 4 AM the officer was said to be off duty. As of our last read the Officer was not able to be interviewed we hope he/she recovers soon.
