Wolbers, 56, of Lake Bluff, was charged with multiple counts of theft of services by the Algonquin and Lake in Hills police for walking out on the bill for expensive spa treatments in McHenry County, according to Algonquin police. He may have stolen nearly $1,000 in body waxings, massages, hair cuts, facials, manicures and pedicures.Wolbers was captured Saturday in Lake Bluff.

ordered up an array of services in at least 20 spas in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin since last March and left without paying the bill.

The man typically gets treatments such as a sea salt body polish, a hair cut and color, but before it's time for his massage, he says he has to leave the building to use his cell phone or get papers from his briefcase. Then, Doles said, the man leaves and never returns.
