CHICAGO POLICE WORKED WITH EVANSTON POLICE ON SHOOTING GOOD JOB!

An Evanston Police officer on patrol spotted the suspect's vehicle heading south on Asbury Avenue. Police officers from Evanston and Chicago stopped the vehicle in the 6200 block of Western, officials said.
The vehicle's driver, a 22-year-old Chicago man, was taken to the Evanston Police station for questioning.

Were proud of all the officers especially from Chicago what adds bang to this story is the Evanston police being at 62nd and Western in Chicago, good for them no one called off their pursuit. Cops on patrol doing what they do well police work. Media how about letting us know North or South it fulfills the story, big miss when you don't provide accurate street locations and races, do you have any idea how many gang members and a whole slew of others run around in White Tee shirts to stump Cops and witness's? Chicago media your so backward with your stories. We can go to other local and state municipalities that seem to get the nuts and bolts of full reporting.

The shooting happened minutes before midnight in the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue as Guy, of the 7300 block of South Hoyne, stood in an alley with friends, Evanston Police said in a statement.
Witnesses told police a masked gunman drove up to the group and fired several shots. Guy, who was struck in the abdomen, was taken to Evanston Hospital, where he died.
A second man, Jarron Jackson, also was taken to Evanston Hospital with gunshot wounds in his left hand and thigh. Jackson, 23, was treated and released.
