The seizure was made by the county's Narcotics and Currency Interdiction, a task force made up of Cook County Sheriff's Police, Illinois State Police, Chicago police and members of the Dolton and Posen police departments, Cook County Sheriff Thomas Dart said.The task force, which is funded through a federal program targeting narcotics enforcement, is charged with reducing the flow of drugs into the Chicago area.
