48 year old man with cocked gun in Police station, did not ask for the officer by name, Franklin said.When the officer got off the telephone and asked the 48-year-old what he wanted, the man drew a revolver with a cocked hammer, Franklin said.At that point, the uniformed officer, who was not assigned to that station, shouted for everyone to take cover, Franklin said.Two officers fired several shots at the man, hitting him once in the left shoulder, Franklin said.
