REFORMED CHICAGO
To registered voters interested in knowing your identity-theft risk levels: We filed

Zelchenko has set up another site, re4m.org, which registered voters can use to find if their
Social Security or telephone numbers were exposed on these discs.
This will make the 4th time for City Employee's since 2003. Looks like the city is averaging a hit on our identity of more than once a year. Why, all due to mishandling of our personal identity information. Were beyond being fed up! Welcome aboard Chicago citizens. The last credit monitoring deal with our Deferred Comp after our records were reported missing to us 18 mths after the fact which also happened to be our 3rd hit, is considered a true dupe on us! What a farce the City that Works to lose our personal and very private data. Credit Monitoring for a year what a joke that deal has turned out to be.
The discs also contain voters' birth dates and addresses -- information that along with Social Security numbers can be used to commit identity theft.
CHICAGO -- About 100 computer discs with 1.3 million Chicago voters' Social Security numbers have been distributed to aldermen and ward committeemen, and the whereabouts of at least an additional six CDs with the same information are unknown, according to the Chicago Board of Elections.
This follows another security lapse in October 2006, when voters' Social Security numbers were available through the board’s Web site.
