CHICAGO POLICE DEPARTMENT HIT WITH LAWSUIT SANCTUARY CITY

It now comes to light that Chicago Police Department and the City of Chicago have been playing around once again at the tax payers expense and ignoring a request from (Judicial Watch) since October 2006. Now who could imagine the City let alone the Chicago Police Dept. ignoring a FOIA request regarding a Federal matter, tongue in cheek.
A FOIA request was made for Documents Pertaining to Policies Governing the Interaction between Police Officers and Illegal Aliens. Seems the further clowning around at the Cook County Board meeting and their desire to also break Federal Law by modeling themselves after us and presenting a Safe Sanctuary Resolution for ILLEGALS may have helped after all. Just maybe this time around it will benefit true law enforcement Officers trying to do their job and also assist all the tax paying citizens for a change, while helping in reduction of crime and costs, while up holding Federal Law. Boy that is a real mouth full.

Judicial Watch has now filed an open records lawsuit against the Chicago Police Department related to the department’s policies concerning illegal immigration. HooYah!!!

***
Judicial Watch’s lawsuit, (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. Chicago Police Department, #06CH28084), filed on December 22, 2006 in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, asks the court to compel the Chicago Police Department to comply with Judicial Watch’s October 13, 2006 Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking documents pertaining to policies and procedures governing the interaction between Chicago police officers and known or suspected illegal aliens.
