CHICAGO MAYOR DALEY 4TH THUMB DOWN SCHILLER DYNAMITE

4th union turns back on DaleyMayor. Daley has been denied the endorsement of a fourth city union, underscoring his strained relations with organized labor. This time it's AFSCME Council 31 taking a pass on the mayor's race, joining the Fraternal Order of Police and the Chicago Federation of Labor in making no endorsement. The Chicago Fire Fighter's Union Local 2 endorsed mayoral challenger Dorothy Brown. AFSCME also endorsed a total of 32 aldermanic candidates, including challengers in the following wards: 3rd, 7th, 12th, 16th, 18th, 21st, 25th, 42nd and 50th.

CHICAGO, An anti-crime rally in Chicago's uptown neighborhood turned political Saturday morning. Some were praising area's turnaround, but CBS 2's Suzanne Le Mignot reports others claimed it was all for show.
Protestors say they want Ald. Helen Shiller (46th) out of office.Those who live in the ward, gathered outside a CAPS anti-crime rally. They claim Ald. Shiller is "soft on crime, until election time."
