Two incidents so far of Firefighters, one seasoned and one in the academy having attire that sparked, now the gear is being investigated after a large purchase of 10 million dollars. Don't we often say gear and equipment is not all that safe. This is a fine example of the products the city purchases for their First Responders. Who has the 10 million dollar contract were wondering. What ever happened to stamped by quality control inspector 0000 number or made in the USA? Gone, gone and gone.
