CHICAGO FELON TRIES TO KILL KOKOMO POLICE OFFICERS



Chicago's own style Felons running rampant while using their vehicle as a deadly weapon aimed directly at the Police.






A convicted felon from Chicago was charged with the attempted murder of Kokomo police officers late Friday when he allegedly tried to run over one officer and threatened to kill other officers in his path.Kokomo Police Sgt. Mark Miller said officers’ lives were put in danger when Howard County Drug Task Force members tried to stop a suspected stolen vehicle at Webster and North streets at about 7:45 p.m.The driver, later identified as Jamon Reed, 29, veered onto a sidewalk, tried to hit an officer, rammed into a drug task force vehicle then crashed the car into a light pole in front of St. Joan of Arc and Patrick School, Miller reported Saturday.With officers approaching the stolen car, Miller said Reed went for his gun and began swallowing crack cocaine while threatening to kill the officers.Officers managed to subdue Reed without any serious injuries or gunfire.
