The bodies of two relatives were found with bullet wounds at 12:40 a.m. in a vehicle near Marquette Park on the Southwest Side, police said.
The victims, Derrick and Eric Sherrill, both 21, of the 6600 block of South California Avenue, were pronounced dead at the scene in the 7000 block of South Fairfield Avenue—a half-mile from their home

CHARGED MAN-TRYING TO KILL A CHICAGO POLICE OFFICER
Another one where were just happy to say, "were glad your safe to fellow brothers
No allege about it and the Officer has the wounds to show it. Congratulations Officers, rest easy and we wish you a speedy recovery.
A man was charged late Friday with attempted first-degree murder after a Chicago police officer was shot and wounded, authorities said.
Devaris Perry, 20, of the 600 block of South Hoyne Avenue also was charged with aggravated battery with a firearm.
Police allege that Perry shot a 55-year-old officer in the arm during a struggle for the officer's gun at the Ida B. Wells public housing development in the 500 block of East Browning Avenue on Friday morning, police said. The same housing development where noisy residents scream, your hassling us with contact cards.
The officer then shot Perry in the thigh, police said.

Two people found dead in an parked auto, a man and a woman, both apparently in their 40s, after neighbors complain of a foul odor? The area has several bustling business's and there is also plenty of foot traffic just hanging out. Did they think these individuals were just nodding, or was the foot traffic indifferent to two occupants just sitting in a vehicle for a good while? It took the smell of death for them to be noticed.
Address also known as Clinton and 16th St. butted by a Amtrak line directly N., Canal St. E., directly West street would be Jefferson. Was this a drug overdose, carbon, etc. Death Investigation being conducted. NFI at this time.

CHICAGO POLICE OFFICERS BECOME WALKING TARGETS
CHICAGO SHOOTING CRIMES AND THEIR TARGETING THE POLICE
Yes, this is part of the job but it does not take away from the reality when Police are also targets, no one in Chicago is safe. Were glad our fellow officer's are safe and no, taking guns from citizens will not alter Chicago's crimes. Were Safe Sanctuary with Bonds, which means no bounty hunters. We only enact to apparently encourage these types of crimes. Thank God we can still carry.

Two of the officers were shot in the arm and one officer's head was grazed by a bullet, said police spokeswoman Monique Bond. All three officers were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where they were in good condition later Sunday, she said. One of the three was expected to be released from the hospital late Sunday or early Monday, police said.
