SIX DEAD SATURDAY IN SEPARATE CHICAGO SHOOTINGS

Six people were fatally shot in separate incidents in Chicago on Saturday, and two men were wounded near each other on the South Side by different gunmen, police said. Common element, the South side of Chicago.

October 6, 2007 - Chicago Police fatally shot a man Friday night after he fired at an officer. Offender 33-year-old Samuel Holmes. Holmes ran from Police through an alley then hid behind park cars and started firing at one of the officers.
