WHAT GIVES HERE? Almost 15,000 Police where doing what?
Here we go again. If we add in Retired and Disabled, all who happen to be currently off the job, it brings us up to over 17,000.
Reality number is:
[11,685] physically working per FOP Sept. 06 numbers. Remember were unable to use retired on pension and the off the job disabled in our numbers for a true body count. If we add in the Sgts and above we then get (12,026.) Far cry from almost [15,000.] brackets done by media below but no question follow up?

Naw, Mayor that is what the military is trained to do and its not easy on them by far but they have a duty to uphold. Wondering why the Mayor is discussing Police and Military in the same breath, the Mayors son is not on the Police force, yet anyway.
We can understand the Mayors concern over his sons deployment, after all he is Daddy/Dad but why on earth is he pumping up our Police numbers? Looks like were back to the drawing board on the math but we still can't seem to change those reality figures.
We think the Mayors sons advice to him was wise leave him out of it!
Mayor Daley your son is now lock stock and barrel military property. Sorry Mayor but its a fact your apron strings are CUT! While your at it please Cease bumping up the Police numbers, who all are you counting, Retired, Disabled not working. Does the media ever question anything these days. Apples to Oranges for real.
